Tales is a series of playing cards designed by Giovanni Meroni, inspired by fairy tales, fables, and fantasy books. The main purpose of these decks is to offer a vast array of characters with which to tell and create fairy tales, both for kids and adults.
Nefarious Tales is the ultimate edition of this series, an Eternal Edition (EE) limited to approximately 600 decks. The tuck box has been crafted by the specialists at Boschiero & Newton from premium matte purple Italian stock with embossing and two luxurious hot-stamped foils: pale green and gold.
The cards have been printed by USPCC on premium Bicycle stock with the finest metallic inks, and feature metallic green lacquered edge printing performed in Italy by Doliberg. This is a new, experimental form of edge printing using ink that gives the appearance of foil gilding but is much more durable and has no noticeable effect on the handling of the cards.
