In World War I many saw being a pilot as a glamorous role, a position that would take them away from the mud and blood of the front lines. Aviation attracted young, energetic recruits who were keen to be trained in this new method of warfare. The need was high and the training was minimal. If you survived, you had the opportunity to be one of the elite, the "Flying Aces."
This special set commemorates the Flying Aces in wonderful detail. The court cards feature unique illustrations of the Flying Aces themselves, along with WWI inspirational phrases for the queens, while the aces and pips have all been customized as well. Everything was printed by the LPCC to ensure the highest level of quality. The cards are printed using Classic Finish, the top grade of stock offered by the LPCC. This signature set includes the standard and limited editions of the deck, a signed collector case with hot foil stamping, and a 10-page booklet.
