In Norse mythology, Odin is not an omniscient god; in fact, he made dire sacrifices in search of knowledge and wisdom. He possessed a pair of ravens, Huginn and Muninn, who were actually part of him: Huginn represents Odin's thoughts and Muninn his mind. This gorgeous box set is designed around Norse mythology with a focus on Odin and his ravens. It includes both the Huginn's Valhalla and Muninn's Crystal decks secured within a foiled and 3D-cut two-part collector's box, the Judgment coin, the book of wisdom, and even a few black raven feathers.
Each of the two decks features a tuck box with embossed hot-foil stamping on premium stock, foiled inner-printing, and a custom foiled deck seal, and the Muninn's Crystal deck also has a resin crystal embedded at its center. The cards have been printed on superior linen stock with ultra-smooth varnishing, and have cold foil application on both sides to illuminate the stunning artwork. The cards have also been gilded in gold / holographic, making each deck shine like a treasure.
The collector's box looks like bird cage, with detailed die-cuts on two sides revealing the foiled ravens inside. The outer box is covered in black foiled debossed art with a resin crystal affixed atop, and the inner box, which also features UV ink designs that are visible under a black light, holds both decks securely within. Also included is the Judgment coin, a huge metal coin made of two parts with a spinning center, the Book of Wisdom manual to explain the mythology of the artwork, and a few black raven feathers.
