The Babylonians invented 13 zodiac constellation signs in the first half of the 1st millennium BC. Over the years the number of signs was reduced to 12, and are mostly associated with horoscopic astrology. These are the inspiration behind the Constellation Playing Cards. This set includes all four decks: Champaign gold and purple mystique standard and gilded.
Everything was printed by Cartamundi, and the beautiful tuck boxes feature gold/purple foil on premium matte stock with embossing, inner-printing, custom numbered seals, and die-cuts on both sides for the purple decks.
The cards come with true linen B9 finish, with special Champaign gold metallic inks on the gold decks and UV ink on the purple decks with shows the actual constellations on the court cards under a black light. And, of course, the gilded decks come with gorgeous gold / silver metallic gilding on the cards.
