Childhood is presented by Lunzi, a famous Cardist from China and one of the lead illustrators for Ark Playing Cards. Themed around Alice in Wonderland, Lunzi pondered which angle to present this classic from, ultimately choosing the Card Soldiers encountered by Alice during her adventure as the main design element.
In Alice in Wonderland, the Card Soldiers are most strongly associated with playing cards. The cards in this deck feature the card soldiers and have oversized indices, but still retain the classic element of suit symbols directly added to the card corners, mounted on wooden figures.
The embossed tuck box, crafted from deluxe specialty paper, displays the dense foliage of the hedge maze which Alice encounters. The texture of the paper allows you to feel each leaf against your skin, mimicking nature's embrace.
